Went to Home depot to get a new water heater. DRF INSTALLATIONS INC takes over if you would like an install, they only offer package pricing and that price is WAY over the Home Depot price. They purchase the water heaters from HD and then they sell those to you with the install. Because of this they mark up the pricing and you end up paying more than if you just purchased the water heater and then got it installed. I tried over and over again to get a price breakdown of the water heater and the install separate but they do not have this. Everyone in the company only has the package price. After talking to a few of their people I found that for my water heater price on HD’s website and for just their install would have been $300 cheaper than their bundle price.Any they do not offer adjustments. I would suggest looking somewhere else, even if your heater just broke, there is no need to get ripped off in your time of need.

Terrible culture here! I simply call through Home Depot to have our bathtub faucet fixed as it’s leaking hot water constantly. I stated that it’s a mobile home. I had been told that because it has the hot and cold controls separate that it’s not up to code. 2 techs came from a DRF Property Solutions. They looked confused when they first came in. They said immediately that they can’t fix it. I asked about installing a new one then and they both looked confused not saying anything. The other one said nothing the entire time and the one that talked didn’t offer anything. I had to ask again at some point if they can do it. $89 for this estimate and it seemed so odd. They finally took pics of the faucet which didn’t make sense really because a new faucet would be installed with a different control. This was Saturday 4/28. I thought how odd this was and called the company at 4pm this day and a woman said the notes say they can’t do it because it’s a mobile home. I simply asked why and asked if they work on mobile homes. She said that they do. She transfers me to Jason a lead who knew nothing. He rudely said that he would refund my $89 but he sounded upset stating that they came out. I said but I have no idea what the problem is, as it’s a simple job. He said it may be a liability issue but he didn’t know. He needed to email mgmt. It was verified that the order placed 4/25 stated it was a mobile home as I was told I spoke to Robert. I never get a call Monday so I file a complaint with Home Depot 4/30. I get a call Tues now 3 days later from a Jaime saying I know you spoke to Jason already but we can not do the job in your mobile home. She addressed nothing as far as why they came out in the first place, or when the techs were here why they couldn’t call a supervisor if they didn’t know what to say or do. Also someone could have called me later Saturday before I had to call them. Clearly Jaime didn’t even call until after she spoke to Home Depot as far as my complaint because when I mentioned it she said that she had talked with them. She could have called me the day before but clearly they show no concern about communicating. I would stay away from this company. I found another company ARS that can do the job and knew how to communicate as they communicated why they can’t repair the faucet but they could install the new one. With the communication issues DRF seems to not even know what they are doing and they clearly think it’s ok. Very strange.
