It started with a broken water pipe in our attic in December of 2015. The water was coming through the ceiling and running onto the kitchen floor. Our local plumber, that we have used for 36 years, told us they didn’t have anyone available to come out for this emergency.
That’s when we went to the Yellow Pages and discovered ‘Western Rooter’. What a stroke of luck that was.
The lady that took the call said they would have someone come out right away. In about 20 minutes Ruben and his son Ruben Junior, showed up. They climbed up into the attic and In about a half hour repaired the broken pipe.
Then one month later the garbage disposal broke and of course we called Western Rooter again. Homar showed up on time and assessed the problem. Left for a short time and came back with a new disposer, installed it in very short order, tested it and bid us, ‘good day’.
A few days later the line from the front of the house became stopped up, and again a call to Western Rooter and Aaron showed within fifteen minutes of the prescribed time. He ran a snake and cleared the line in short order.
You might say we were having a bit of bad luck because a month and a half after that, I was taking a shower and heard a gurgling sound, opened the shower door to see water bubbling up in the toilet. Made a call to Western Rooter and got an appointment for the next morning.
This time Omar and Justin showed up on time and said it was a blockage in the main sewer line. Couldn’t run a snake because there was no clean out on that side of the forty year old house. They ran a camera into the line to find the blockage. Ultimately they did a saw cut and jack hammered a square area in the garage, dug down about four feet to the main sewer line and installed a two way clean out. Ran a snake from there and cleared the line. That was all in one day, by the way. The next day a fellow showed up and did the cement patch.
So in two and a half months I have dealt with six of the plumbers that work for Western Rooter. All very nice guys that know what they are doing and do it quickly and leave everything clean and neat.
I hope I don’t need a plumber for awhile, but if I do, it will be Western Rooter and Plumbing.
