The United Association of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union No. 52 is located in Montgomery, Alabama and was chartered on December 7, 1905. We have over 100 years of excellence in the plumbing and pipefitting industry. The 500+ members pride themselves as being the best tradesmen in the South.
Our aim shall be benevolence and mutual protection, to secure for one another just remuneration for our labor, assist in the burial for our deceased members, to make and use every honorable effort to secure passage and enforcement of such laws that give more pleasant living and to protect the public health.
Our apprentices and journeyman are trained to the highest standards possible. The United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters has over 300 licensed journeyman and apprentice plumbers in the state of Alabama. Contractors and owners can rely on UA-trained craftspeople because they know that they are getting the best.

I have a dishwasher that is covered with homeowners insurance through American Home Shield. The dishwasher has a copper hose and the Tri county appliance will not repair it with the copper hose. they informed me that I should have a plumber replace the hose with a spiral hose before they can repair the dishwasher even if there’s nothing wrong with the plumbing and the copper hose.
